Dear Yoga friends!
As the holidays approach and the year draws to a close, I wanted to send you my warmest wishes and all my love. I hope you have a wonderful time with your family and loved ones! During this special season, whether in between or afterward, I encourage you to take a moment for reflection. This is the perfect time to look back on the past year and think about how far we’ve come. Let’s do this together. Here are a few questions to guide your reflection: • What has changed since the start of the year? • What are you proud of accomplishing? • What areas of your life would you like to transform? • What intentions or goals will you focus on moving forward? • What changes would you like to make for yourself? • Do these intentions have a physical, mental, or spiritual focus? Here’s my personal list to start! :) • Physical Focus: After Christmas, I’m cutting out sugar (again!), including hidden sugars in my food. I’ll start a 4-week cleanse in January to reset my body. I plan to take longer walks in the woods with our dogs. • Mental & Emotional Focus: I will finally dive into the books that have been waiting for me! I’ll continue my Energy Medicine Course and pursue other courses that interest me. I’ll make it a point to call or invite friends over more often. I’ll listen to my inner voice and trust my heart. • Spiritual Focus: I’m dedicating more time to longer meditations, reflections, and daily journaling. I’ll deepen my Yoga practice. I’ll make time to visit beautiful places—whether it’s a walk, a day trip, or a getaway—just to be in the moment. I want to feel present, fulfilled, renewed, and refreshed. I could go on, but I don’t want to overwhelm myself. It’s important not to set unrealistic expectations, so I’ll focus on what truly matters, knowing I don’t have to do it all at once.
